 The KPA Bursary
The KPA Bursary: Welcome

The KPA Bursary is a scheme that aims to help postgraduates engage in extracurricular activities. Any individual postgraduate at Keele University can apply for between £50-£500 to engage in activities outside of their course which will help their personal and academic development. Every year the KPA awards between £10,000 and £12,000 in bursaries.

In order to access our bursary form, we ask that you email kpa.coordinator@keele.ac.uk, with a short brief about what specifically it is that you would like us to fund. Our coordinator will then be able to direct you to the appropriate method of application.

The KPA Bursary terms and conditions, guidance, links to frequently asked questions and links to reports of successful applicants and how the bursary has helped them can be found below.

Due to COVID-19, we recognise that you may not be able to attend conferences and events in person. We now have a COVID-19 bursary form which can be used to specifically support you fund for something that has been directly impacted by the pandemic. It can also enable you to apply for a wider range of activities and costs incurred from memberships. You can find our COVID-19 bursary T's and C's below. To be clear, we still cannot fund hardship and would encourage you to seek support from student services in that instance.
