Support Services for Students during COVID-19
Here at the KPA, we are dedicated to supporting our postgraduate students. The below contacts are some additional support services; whether its academic, legal or health and well-being related.
"Hey, it's ok" campaign
The Committee and a number of postgraduate students have been working on a "Hey, it's OK" campaign. This is to let you know that we are still here for you and are on hand for any support that you might need. We wanted to let you know, that it is OK to take a break to focus on your wellbeing and that it is absolutely normal for you to have worries or concerns. The video below is just the start of our campaign. We will be working hard in the next few weeks to share wellbeing material, contacts for specialist mental health and wellbeing support and activities to increase productivity and better health.

ASK at KeeleSU
If you have any queries relating to housing issues or problems with your rent, ASK have specialist advice for these sorts of concerns. ASK can also help with any legal troubles, academic issues and financial concerns.

Keele Doctoral Academy (KDA)
The Keele Doctoral Academy is a body at the University that specialises in PGR study, guidelines, best practice and governance.
Should you have any concerns relating directly to your postgraduate research in light of COVID-19, please get in touch with the doctoral academy. You can also get in touch with your PGR course reps as well as the KPA to flag any course specific issue.

If you are a PGR Student...
Our Postgraduate Specific Wellbeing Support Officer, Toni Karic, has also been doing some work to ensure that PGR students are kept up to date with study guidance. She has also created a document on how to look after your mental health and wellbeing whilst in self isolation. The document offers guidance on current support available to PGR students, both at Keele and nationally.
Toni can be contacted at any point by PGT/PGR Students alike. Her role is to identify postgraduate specific wellbeing issues, in order to generate change of provisions within the University. If you have a COVID-19 related wellbeing issues, please get in touch with Toni at
